In the month of August, 2019, this girl is taking the challenge of watching foreign movies (non-American, even though I am actually Turkish) for an entire month, alone.

I grew up loving watching movies, all kinds (except horror) because my dad had a passion for it, and growing up we were that family who'd rent movies every weekend and watch it altogether. Now, it's not necessarily the best option considering the adultery scenes are increased and I happen to know what's going on, it gets a little terrifying.

Long story short, I love Hollywood movies. The Warner Bros. Entertainment and Walt Disney studios and many productions you can imagine, actors that I adore, from Bill Murray to Nicole Kidman to Emma Stone (very strange combo I'll admit, but many big names define Hollywood) and directors, obviously.

Why I'm doing this challenge for myself is simply because I want to broaden my movie knowledge, and in general, gain more perspective from other countries and the way they talk, what they eat, how they get dressed, you can see so much from movies.

Here is a list of countries that (according to many websites) make decent movies. (Aside from 'Murica& any other English-spoken country)

PS, I will make a list of 15 counties for the sake of watching 2 movies from each)

1-French

2-Italian

3-Indian

4-Korean

5-Swedish

6-Danish

7-Japanese

8-German

9-Poland

10-Spanish

Based on my observations, I will drop by every now and then to review the movies I have seen from many perspectives, not only the main theme and the story, but also in depth, the angles, shooting, the language, behaviours and many details that attract my attention.
